Off to the Park We Go

September got off work this evening and we had the urge to get out of the house for a fun filled family evening.   We started our evening at the local Applebee’s in Bellevue, where we were able to sit down and have a nice meal, take our time and get some real quality time as a family… spending time with the family has to be one of the things I treasure most….  It’s often the things that seem so routine that end up creating some of the most special memories…..

After finishing our meal, we knew we weren’t ready to come home, but we had no idea what we wanted to do, so we decided to take the long way home, the scenic route, as it’s called.  In this state if you can stay off the interstate, every route is scenic….  The mountains, Puget Sound, it’s all beautiful -- so it was nice and relaxing drive…..

We ended up at one of the local playgrounds here in Issaquah where the girls had a blast.  Kayla climbing on the jungle gym and Courtney swinging on the swings with daddy pushing her... . I must say I got quite the workout LOL…
